On my previous Macs, I would have to use the old Outlook 98, then later just Outlook Web Access to get to my company's Exchange server. It can get POP3, IMAP and Exchange 2007 based email. As stated, Mail, which is included with your Mac is quite stable. Entourage is horrible, IMHO. (i.e.: my "extra" is Exchange server connectivity.)I picked up on this email thread and hope no one minds me going off on a bit of a tangent but I have had a couple of problems when using mail.Occasionally when I reply to an email via mail the recipient only gets a blank email - nothing that I have typed shows up. It's your needs for the extras like rules or multiple accounts that will affect your decision. I haven't really found a mail program that didn't do the "basic" features acceptably. I do use Opera browser, but I haven't used their mail program. Did the problem just start happening or has it always happened? How long have you had the computer? etc.
